Founded in 1994 by two passionate brothers, Sampath and Asiri, Wasana Trading Lanka (Pvt) Ltd was built on a legacy of automotive knowledge passed down through generations. With a vision to bring trusted vehicles to Sri Lankan roads, WTL quickly grew into a household name earning a strong reputation for quality, reliability, and customer care. We began our journey by importing reconditioned vehicles from Japan, the UK, Australia, Hong Kong, and Thailand. Among our proudest achievements are the WTL HIACE 15-seater diesel van, launched in 2005, and the SAW van introduced in 2023 both proudly manufactured for the local market. While we no longer produce these models, they remain as powerful symbols of our dedication to local innovation and quality. We also had the honour of hosting the Wasana Motor Show the only motor show ever organised by a car dealership in Sri Lanka. Though no longer held, it remains a cherished chapter in our history, reflecting our passion for creating impactful and memorable experiences for our customers. Today, we focus on importing high-quality, brand new and used vehicles along with offering trusted after-sales services across the island.
